Getting there

You can find this boss by going through a special doorway found in Brightleaf. This doorway can be found near the Merchant.

Basic Info

Equip your axe of choice, and collect Firewood to place under the pit. Find old broken down wooden furniture or even palm trees, to gather Firewood. After you gather enough head over to the cooking stage, and throw your Firewood under the pit. You will get a message of your contribution, and the % of the status of the firepit. You're giving Clam-Spikes for contributing, which will be useful later. After the fire pit has been lit, head over to the giant clam and start attacking (MAGIC DOESN'T DEAL ANY DAMAGE).

Drops

The Giant Clam has a specific way of giving you rewards, which is different to the usual monster. Upon its death, (as long as you contribute to the kill), you will receive Mossy Clam's, relative to the number of Clam-Spikes that you have inside your inventory.

The Clam-Spikes can then be used with the Mossy Clam's to pry it open, allowing you to have a chance at 1 in 4 of the following Clams:
