Woodpecker lost its home to you so it decided to follow you instead. You can unlock woodpecker from woodcutting. Unlike the combat pets, skilling pets level from their corresponding skill type (this one being gathering). Skilling pets help you with benefits for skills instead of attacking monsters. The higher level this pet is, the better chance of obtaining a log from a tree and an ore from a rock.

The pet will appear in your inventory when unlocked and you will receve the message "You feel something sneak into your inventory...". When you unlock the pet it will also broadcast a server message stating "[playername] has unlocked Woodpecker, the Woodcutting Pet!".

• Increased Woodcutting Efficiency depending of Woodpecker's level (Woodcutting speed is not affected, only the chance of obtaining a log when striking a tree)
• Increased Mining Efficiency depending on Woodpecker's level (Mining speed is not affected, only chance of obtaining ore when striking a rock)
