The Wasteland is a dangerous area located just south of Brightleaf, where if you die you can lose your gold or valuable XP. Beware that other players can kill you in the Wasteland, and creatures can be aggressive.
Players must be within 10 levels of you for you to be able to attack them, and vice versa. If you die to a player you will lose 5% of your current gold (up to 5k). If you die to a creature in this area you will lose 5% of your XP as opposed to the normal 1%.

The following monsters can be found there:
- Skeletal Snake (level 30)
- Skeletal Bat (level 35)
