The portal that transports you to the High Risk PvP Area is located around spawn in Brightleaf.

The high risk pvp area is an area where players fight each other, but if you are killed you drop all unprotected items. When you die you protect the 3 most expensive items in or on your character. Note: If you loot a more expensive item from another player, your protected items will change to include that item and exclude the lest valuable of the 3 previously protected items.
